Wind Renewables Income Fund

Wind Renewables Income Fund invests predominately in sub 5MW onshore wind assets in the UK, providing investors with secure inflation linked long income.

Investment Strategy

The fund seeks to aggregate a UK-wide operating portfolio of mid-sized onshore wind assets backed by UK Feed in Tariff (“FiT”) with 20-year “grandfathered” incentives. The investment strategy includes:

  • A focus on proven performance and stable, predictable, inflation (RPI) linked cash flows.
  • Geographically diversified assets within the UK

Portfolio Highlights

Banffshire, Scotland

Located in Banffshire, Scotland, the Myreton 2.3MW project consists of two 810kW and one 670kW Enercon wind turbines.

Expected to generate 5,940 MWh each year, the site will be able to power 1,800 homes. The wind project will offset a considerable amount of CO2, 2,912 tonnes, the carbon footprint of 647 average UK homes.

Operational since 2013.

Leicestershire, England

Located in Leicestershire, England, the LePetomane 0.5MW project consists of a single 500kW EWT wind turbine.

Expected to generate 1,240 MWh each year, the site will be able to power 376 homes. This wind project will offset 608 tonnes of CO2, the carbon footprint of 135 average UK homes.

Operational since 2014.

Leicestershire, England

Located in Leicestershire, England the Chickenhawk 0.5MW project consists of a single 500kW EWT wind turbine.

Expected to generate 1,200 MWh each year, the site will be able to power 364 homes. This wind project will offset 588 tonnes of CO2, the carbon footprint of 131 average UK homes.

Operational since 2015.

South Lanarkshire, Scotland

Located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, the Skellyton 0.5MW project consists of a single 500kW EWT wind turbine.

Expected to generate 1,038 MWh each year, the site will be able to power 315 homes. This wind project will offset 509 tonnes of CO2, the carbon footprint of 113 average UK homes.

Operational since 2016.
